The Biologist and the Dragon

Once while a biologist was out in the field,
he saw a dragon and almost reeled.
Sneaking up on it, he placed on a band,
but the dragon was quick and bit off his hand.
The moral of this tale if you haven't a clue, 

is dragons are forever free and faster than you.
