Starfire

	Stars shine silver in the darkness.
	Gleaming spark, light in dark.
	Glittering on the black velvet sky--
	Diamond light, shining bright.

	We see them, but cannot touch them.
	Distant, cold, and ages old.
	Far-off, remote; points of fire;
	Shining dome, celestial tome.

	Constellations, burning patterns--
	Gone the sun, day is done.
	Ice-cold fires; sparkling, glowing--
	Nightly eyes, ever wise.
