The Four Elements

	First, the element of Earth,
	Bearer of life itself.
	Giving us our food and our safe havens
	Giving us a place on which to tread.

	Then the element of Water.
	It is our blood, sweat, and tears.
	It is the water that keeps us alive
	It is the water that gave life to us all.

	The element of Wind is next.
	Herald of storms, bearer of voices.
	Eternal traveler, singing above us,
	Eternal wanderer, bringer of air.

	Last, the element of Fire,
	Giving us warmth in its brilliant burning.
	Element of destruction, dangerously beautiful.
	Source of all light, forever illuminator.

	Earth and Water, Wind and Fire
	Givers of gifts, forever enjoined.
	Elements of Nature, all
	Bearers of life, bringers of death.
