 the overseer views life
 as mass movements
 and large scale features.
Skimming high above
 he misses the details.
Grandiose sets of subtle beauty
 form his visions.
No uglyness or madness
 intrudes the pictures he paints;
 and the grotesque texture 
 of his canvas 
 is hidden
 Beneath the swashes of color.
