[ DH ] The government works - [ DH ] but not too well [ DH ] The town exists - [ DH ] but there are no plans [ DH ] Within the halls - [ DH ] the people learn, [ DH ] but gain no wisdom. [ DH ] The sculptured grounds - [ DH ] remain always without art. [ DH ] And only in the fountain [ DH ] do I find peace.
